The Romanian company Autonom Services has completed a credit contract worth 300 million euros, with the option to extend up to 350 million euros, aimed at supporting sustainability objectives. The financing structure includes a revolving facility of 250 million euros for the purchase of vehicles and equipment, as well as refinancing existing facilities, with an initial maturity of up to 7 years, extendable up to 11 years. Additionally, an unsecured facility of 50 million euros is intended for general corporate needs, with an initial maturity of 2 years, extendable up to 6 years.
Marius Ștefan, co-founder of Autonom, emphasized that this financing will reduce borrowing costs and provide flexibility for the company's development. The loan was granted by a syndicate of banks, including Banca Transilvania, BRD, ING Bank, UniCredit Bank, and Raiffeisen Bank, with BRD and ING coordinating the sustainability component. The facilities are linked to ESG indicators, encouraging improvements in environmental impact and operational efficiency. The company was assisted by Filip & Company and Mihai Ionescu, while the banking syndicate was assisted by CMS.
