ANPIS announces payments of over 2.2 billion lei for social benefits for the month of February, aimed at supporting millions of vulnerable Romanians.

The National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection (ANPIS) announced that, in March, it made payments for social assistance benefits related to February, supporting millions of vulnerable Romanians. The total amounts allocated include over 1.1 billion lei for 3,574,292 beneficiaries of state child allowances and over 573 million lei for 148,585 beneficiaries of child-raising allowances. Other significant amounts include 586 million lei for the rights of 933,193 persons with disabilities and nearly 37 million lei for 28,114 beneficiaries of placement allowances. ANPIS emphasized its commitment to ensuring timely payment of social assistance rights, thus contributing to supporting vulnerable categories and reducing the impact of economic difficulties on the population.
