The National Authority for Consumer Protection carried out checks in 253 residential centers, finding numerous irregularities, ranging from unsanitary conditions in kitchens and bedrooms to failure to comply with food storage temperatures. Sanctions were also imposed on both the economic operators and the former Secretary General of a care home who resisted the check.
