On Monday, over 145 countries agreed to amend the global agreement from 2021 regarding the taxation of multinational companies, in response to concerns expressed by Washington about potential negative effects on American giants. The changes made to the agreement aim to protect the interests of companies in the United States, ensuring that they will not be disadvantaged by the new tax regulations. The revised agreement reflects international efforts to create a fairer tax system for multinationals, but also to address the specificities of the American market.
