From August 14-18, 2025, Alpha Bank Romania will merge with UniCredit Bank, and customers will have full access to UniCredit products from August 18. Alpha Bank branches will operate until August 14 and digital channels until the same dates, with temporary limitations. Alpha Bank cards will be valid until August 14, after which the new UniCredit cards will be used. Customers are advised to be wary of possible fraud attempts. The merger will create a stronger and more future-proof bank.
