At the meeting of European People's Party finance ministers, Alexandru Nazare underlined Romania's commitment to fiscal responsibility and budgetary consolidation. In just two weeks since taking office, the government has adopted a significant fiscal package aimed at putting public finances back on a sustainable path. Mr. Nazare also discussed the measures undertaken by the Government at the ECOFIN Council, reaffirming Romania's determination to respect fiscal and budgetary discipline.
