On the occasion of Romania's National Day, Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker attended a reception organized by the Romanian embassy in Vienna, highlighting the importance of the Romanian community for Austrian society. Stocker stated that Romanians contribute significantly in various fields, from industry to sports and health, thus enriching Austrian society. He emphasized the close relations between Austria and Romania, which have a long history and are reflected in European partnerships.

The Chancellor expressed gratitude for the contributions of Romanians and conveyed best wishes on the occasion of the Great Union Day, emphasizing that Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan's visit to Vienna is a sign of lasting friendship between the two countries.
