A Romanian at the wheel of a stolen car hit a police officer on the A4 highway in Italy, causing him a cranial injury. He managed to escape and continued the series of robberies.

The incident took place on September 12, when a Romanian man, under house arrest, stole a BMW in Rho and was intercepted by the police. During the attempt to stop him, he hit a police officer, who was taken to the hospital with a head injury. After the impact, the fugitive abandoned the BMW and stole two other vehicles, including a van, raising fears that he might already be on his way to Romania.
