The Carabinieri from the Italian locality of Cadoneghe, in the province of Padova, intervened following a report to 112, which announced that a man had broken into his brother's home, a businessman. The protagonist of the incident, a 39-year-old Romanian citizen with a criminal record, found other people in the apartment and began to threaten them, eventually declaring that he would blow the house up.
Considering the nature of the threats, the agents assessed the situation as potentially dangerous, which required the immediate intervention of the Carabinieri from the Radiomobile Section of the Padova Company. Once on site, the law enforcement forces managed to calm the man, who was subsequently reported in a state of freedom to the Padova Prosecutor's Office for property violation. The incident occurred in the context of the extraordinary territorial control measures implemented by the Carabinieri during the legal holiday in August, aimed at ensuring security in crowded areas.
