Germany is interested in safety measures through a new government guide, entitled "Preparations for Crises and Disasters", which addresses not only natural disasters but also contemporary threats, such as cyberattacks and the possibility of armed conflict. The Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) presented this initiative on October 13, emphasizing that, although Germany is considered a safe country, crises can disrupt daily life.

The new edition of the guide includes information on protection against explosions and how to recognize false information, thus expanding the advice provided in previous versions. Citizens are urged to prepare in advance, having supplies and action plans in case of emergency. The guide will be translated into seven languages to be accessible to a larger number of residents. The Minister of the Interior emphasized the importance of raising awareness of these threats, maintaining a balance between warning and avoiding panic.
