The Federation of Romanian Associations in Europe (FADERE) has made an official request to the Ministry of Defense to clarify how the mobilization of Romanians living abroad will be managed. Approximately five million Romanians live permanently abroad but have their official residence in Romania, which complicates the mobilization process.

The Federation emphasizes that the institution does not have updated information about the actual addresses of these individuals and risks sending mobilization orders to old addresses, without the recipients being informed. The president of FADERE, Daniel Țecu, has called for transparency and clarity in managing these situations, highlighting the importance of responsible communication from the Romanian state, especially in the context of a conflict at the country's borders.
