The project "Seasons of Activities and National Identity for the Community in Great Britain", funded by the Department for Romanians Everywhere, aimed to promote the Romanian language and cultural values among Romanian children in Great Britain, with a total budget of 88,400 lei. The activities included interactive educational sessions in Cardiff and Bristol, aimed at children aged between 5 and 13 years and their parents. 30 families participated, both from the first and second generation, facilitating the development of linguistic and cultural skills through thematic workshops and traditional games.
Parents' feedback was positive, with 100% of them confirming that the activities contributed to the learning of the Romanian language, and 75% believed that the project strengthened the sense of belonging to the Romanian community. The project reinforced social cohesion and promoted a positive image of the Romanian community, reaffirming the commitment of the Romanian Association in Great Britain to support the integration of Romanians into British society while preserving their cultural identity.
