A serious incident occurred in front of the house of an Austrian, who fired 13 shots at a Romanian couple. The two Romanians had come to the area to load a machine onto a platform. The Austrian man heard noises and, believing he was the victim of a robbery, came out yelling and drew his weapon. Although he claimed that he used the weapon only as a warning and did not intend to harm anyone, the two Romanians were not physically affected. After the incident, the Austrian was arrested, and the justice system did not accept his self-defense arguments. He was sentenced to 16 months in prison with a suspended sentence and to pay a fine.
