A 21-year-old Romanian young man survived after jumping from the roof of a building in Spain, the impact being cushioned by a tree.

A dramatic incident took place on Friday in Palma de Mallorca, where a 21-year-old Romanian fell from the roof of a tall building. The incident occurred on Francesc Martí i Mora street, when the young man, after an argument with his ex-girlfriend, climbed onto the roof of Torre Madrid.

A resident noticed his presence and alerted the building staff, but the young man jumped off before he could be stopped. His fall was cushioned by the crown of a tree, and then he landed on the terrace of a café, hitting two other young people.

Although the Romanian was found in critical condition and transported to the hospital, the two young people suffered less serious injuries. The police identified the young man and spoke with his ex-girlfriend, who did not wish to file a complaint. The investigation continues to clarify the circumstances of the incident, while the Romanian's condition remains serious, as he is hospitalized in intensive care.
