A Romanian woman studying in China surprised internet users with a TikTok video detailing her daily expenses for food and drinks, with a total amount of only 28 lei. The young woman started her day with a coconut latte costing 6.15 lei, and continued with a lunch on campus, where she paid 6.76 lei for a pancake and 1.17 lei for a bottle of water.

After classes, she bought a 600 ml cola for 2.46 lei, and dinner, a Japanese chicken from the student cafeteria, cost 11.68 lei. In the end, the total expenses amounted to 28.21 lei, which sparked astonished reactions from users who compared the prices to those in Romania, where costs are significantly higher.
