The police in Tulcea apprehended four young people aged between 16 and 20, caught in the act while stealing fuel from a military truck parked near a military unit. Alerted by a witness, the police intervened quickly, but the young people fled to a vacant lot.

The law enforcement forces fired a warning shot, managing to catch them shortly after. Upon approaching the truck, the police found a car with containers full of fuel. Although they stole a small amount of fuel, the young people were detained for 24 hours, and a criminal case for aggravated theft was opened in this matter.
