A young man without a license was caught driving an unregistered car with false plates, after a 12 km chase. He was detained for 24 hours.

A young man from Giurgiu County was caught driving a car without a valid driver's license. The police made a regular signal to stop, but the young man refused to comply, being pursued for a distance of 12 kilometers until he was intercepted in the locality of Daia. Subsequent checks showed that the car was not registered and had false license plates.

The young man was tested with a breathalyzer, the result being negative. Based on the evidence, he was detained for 24 hours, and the Prosecutor's Office next to the Giurgiu Court ordered a measure of judicial control for 60 days, being accused of several offenses related to driving a vehicle without a license and with false documents.
