The Capital Police were notified about a 16-year-old minor who may have been the victim of sexual and physical assaults. The suspect is the girl's wrestling coach, a 42-year-old man. Following the investigations, four search warrants were issued in Bucharest, in a criminal case concerning offenses of rape against a minor and assault or other violence. The collected evidence suggests that the man engaged in sexual relations with the minor, taking advantage of the trust relationship she had with him. Additionally, during training sessions, he allegedly physically assaulted her. The suspect has been identified and taken in for questioning, and the investigations continue under the supervision of a prosecutor specialized in child abuse.
