Sibiu: Two women have been detained on the accusation that they killed a person for an inheritance of one million euros

The shocking case from Sibiu involves a 38-year-old woman, accused of having killed her 59-year-old mother with the help of a 46-year-old nurse, in order to obtain an inheritance estimated at over 1 million euros, consisting of at least three properties.

Prosecutor Dan Simion detailed that the daughter administered sedatives to her mother in tea, and later called the nurse to inject another sedative, causing her death. After the murder, the two suffocated the victim with a pillow to ensure she was dead. The daughter sold the inherited goods and traveled to Dubai, but was caught upon her return to Sibiu. The investigation was opened following information received by the authorities, and the hospital where the nurse worked initiated internal checks to investigate the possible diversion of substances.
