A woman from Murfatlar has been detained for murder, after she stabbed her husband in the chest following a conflict.

The incident took place on September 24, 2025, in the couple's shared residence, against the backdrop of alcohol consumption. The woman dealt a fatal blow to her husband, causing injuries incompatible with life, including hemothorax and hemopericardium. She will be presented to the Constanța Court with a proposal for preventive detention for 30 days.
