The Capital Police intervened after being notified that a woman was forcibly put into a car. She was found on a street in Sector 5, where she was safely taken. The investigation established that the woman's husband, with whom she no longer lives, forced her to get into a vehicle driven by another man, where he physically assaulted her and attempted to check her phone for evidence of alleged infidelity.
The police initiated searches and identified the victim, who initially did not file a complaint. The two men were later found in Călărași County. The husband, known to have a criminal record, received a temporary protection order, and criminal proceedings were initiated against him and his accomplice for deprivation of liberty, domestic violence, and illegal access to a computer system. Both men were detained for 24 hours and will be presented to the court.
