The airline Wizz Air has announced the expansion of its operations at Sibiu International Airport by bringing a second aircraft and launching a new route to Milan - Bergamo, scheduled for January 2026. This will offer more than 1 million seats on sale, marking a 48% increase in capacity compared to 2024. Passengers can already fly on routes to cities including Basel, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hamburg, Madrid, Rome and Vienna.
