Wiz Khalifa appears on the Romanian Police website as a wanted person after being sentenced to 9 months in prison for possession of controlled substances.

American rapper Wiz Khalifa, known for his music, was sentenced to 9 months in prison by the Constanța Court of Appeal for possession of controlled substances.

The sentencing took place at the end of last year, after, in 2024, Romanian police discovered 18 grams of cannabis on him during a festival in Costinești, where he smoked a cannabis joint on stage. The Romanian police issued a warrant for the execution of the sentence, and the rapper contested the decision, but his appeal was rejected by the High Court of Cassation and Justice on May 7, 2026.

Khalifa was also ordered to pay judicial costs of 300 lei. The sentence remains final, and the rapper is now wanted by the authorities.
