The National Institute for Earth Physics (INFP) reported a weak earthquake in the seismic area of Vrancea, Buzău, on October 30, 2025, at 12:16:59 (local time in Romania). The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.3 and occurred at a depth of 120 km. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 53 km west of Focșani, 59 km northwest of Buzău, 61 km southeast of Sfântu Gheorghe, 70 km east of Brașov, and 85 km northeast of Ploiești. INFP will update the information as it becomes available.
