Vlad Voiculescu drew attention on Thursday evening through a Facebook post in which he used the hashtags '#goBolo' and '#M***PSD', stating that there is "the essence that we have reached a point where we can no longer be patient with the things that really matter," while "insults" are shared more easily.

The initial post was edited, removing the hashtags and changing the beginning of the message. In the revised version, Voiculescu emphasized that the public space is dominated by insults, slurs, and conspiracies, instead of discussing essential topics such as hospitals and reforms.

He referred to Gigi Becali's statements which attracted more attention than Attila Cseke's warning that Romania risks losing almost two billion euros in European funds for hospitals, available until August 31, 2026.

His criticism targets the need to redirect public attention to truly relevant subjects.

Remus Pricopie, rector of SNSPA, labeled Vlad Voiculescu's obscene message as "absolutely inappropriate, but revealing." He argues that such actions inevitably project onto the institutions that the former minister represents. "Absolutely inappropriate," Pricopie said.
