Three men from Iași County were arrested after they attacked a local resident who reported them to the police with pitchforks and sticks.

In the locality of Țibana in Iași, four armed men with sticks, pitchforks, and axes forcibly entered the yard of a local resident, attacking him as revenge for having reported to the police regarding a crime of driving under the influence of alcohol. On February 15, one of the attackers hit the victim four times, reproaching him for helping the authorities.

That same evening, the victim received death threats. Subsequently, the four destroyed the windows and doors of the residence, spraying tear gas on the people inside, causing them physical suffering. Three of the attackers were placed in preventive arrest for disturbing public order and revenge against justice.
