The former Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, reacted on Friday to the drone incident in Romania, expressing his solidarity with those affected. Orban stated that the episode highlights the dangers of war for neighboring countries, asserting that "we stand with the injured in the drone attack that affected neighboring Romania." In his message published on Facebook, the Fidesz leader called for the maintenance of Hungary's policy of neutrality and urged to avoid a European shift towards war.

The drone incident, considered the most serious since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, occurred on Friday morning in Galați, injuring two people and evacuating dozens more. President Nicușor Dan convened the CSAT to analyze the implications of this incident.
