Victor Becali, Gigi Becali's cousin, has been rehabilitated by the judges of the Bucharest Court of Appeal, after he applied for it in March this year. He was sentenced to five years and eight months in prison in the 'Bribe for a judge' case. The rehabilitation decision can be challenged by prosecutors within three days.
