Valeriu Stoica, former president of PNL, discussed in the show 'In your face' on Digi24 about the implications of the motion of censure. Stoica believes that PSD and AUR have made an agreement, although each party pursues different objectives. PSD wants an alliance with PNL, USR, and UDMR, while AUR demands early elections. Stoica warns that if the motion passes, PNL risks diminishing its political influence.
He suggests that a PSD-AUR government could exclude PNL and USR from power. Regarding Nicușor Dan, Stoica states that the president could appoint a prime minister from PSD, but not from AUR. Additionally, Stoica believes that PNL would make a mistake if it were to give up Ilie Bolojan, emphasizing that PSD's attacks aim at changing the way politics is done in Romania. He concludes that PSD and AUR have many common points, which could lead to future collaboration between the two parties.
