The USR parliamentary group requested the Minister of Energy, Bogdan-Gruia Ivan, to participate in the 'Government Hour' on February 9 to provide explanations regarding the lack of drinking water in Curtea de Argeș and the neighboring localities, a situation that arose due to the modernization works of the Vidraru Lake.

Although the necessity of these works has been known for about 10 years, tens of thousands of residents have been facing a lack of drinking water for over three months. USR is asking the minister to present a plan of measures and concrete actions, in collaboration with Hidroelectrica, to resolve the water crisis and prevent similar situations in the future. Additionally, the parliamentarians are requesting details about the actions of the Ministry of Energy to ensure the supply of drinking water to the affected population.
