USR presented on Monday a set of ten proposals aimed at "de-baronizing justice" and strengthening the fight against corruption. Among these are the reform of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM), which should become more representative and transparent, as well as the promotion of judges to the High Court through written competitions.

USR also proposes measures to avoid delays in court proceedings, including increasing the special statute of limitations and sanctioning judges who delay the resolution of cases. Other measures include protecting whistleblowers in the judiciary, limiting the powers of chief prosecutors, and ensuring a random distribution of cases through independent audits. USR emphasizes the need for an independent and efficient judiciary that does not allow corruption and abuses of power.
