A rare incident took place on the Oradea - Constanta route, when a CFR Călători train left two carriages behind in the field due to a technical breakdown. Passengers had to wait for hours until the locomotive returned to pick them up. The train arrived at its destination with a 4-hour delay, and CFR issued a message apologizing for the inconvenience. The fault was identified in the wagon coupling system and the affected wagon was subsequently replaced.
