The investigation by prosecutors from the Alba Iulia District Court Prosecutor's Office into the fire at the UM Cugir warehouse, which destroyed over 51,000 cartridges, is at an early stage. Although the possibility of sabotage was initially considered, there are now no indications of sabotage. The fire was caused by improper storage of the pyrotechnic powder, and investigations are focusing on the offenses of culpable destruction and failure to take safety measures. People have been interviewed and samples have been taken for expert examination.
