Two men from the village of Bicfalău, Covasna County, were injured on Thursday following a deflagration caused by throwing gasoline into a stove that contained embers. Initially, the incident was reported as a gas cylinder explosion, but the ISU Covasna teams, which intervened quickly, determined that the real source of the fire was the use of fuel. The victims, aged approximately 52 and 20, suffered first and second-degree burns on their faces and arms, one of them having burns on 40% of their body surface. Both were transported to UPU Brașov for specialized treatment. The intervention included several fire trucks and ambulance teams.
