The Coast Guard announced on Saturday morning that the ferry crossing between the Isaccea Border Crossing Point (Romania) and Orlovka (Ukraine) is temporarily suspended, following Russian drone attacks the previous night on infrastructure in the Ukrainian area.

Orlovka border crossing was hit by a drone, and the infrastructure of the Orlivka ferry complex was damaged, which is why operations have been halted. Traffic exiting Romania is redirected to the Galați border crossing – Road, and the two ferries that ensure the crossing of the Danube are anchored on the Romanian shore. Romanian authorities announce that they will return with information when the Ukrainian side resolves the situation and ferry crossings can be resumed. Ukrainian media confirms that the Orlovka border point was attacked by a Russian drone, which led to the temporary suspension of operations.
