A new landslide on DN1, in Prahova County, has led to traffic restrictions. The remediation works will last 2-3 days.

A landslide occurred on DN1, near the locality of Cornu, affecting the first lane of traffic. The spokesperson for CNAIR, Alin Șerbănescu, stated that the repair works, which include the installation of concrete elements and the stabilization of the embankment, could take 2-3 days.

Traffic is restricted to one lane, but traffic is flowing safely on the other lanes. Authorities have taken preventive measures, restricting the circulation of trucks with a weight of more than 7.5 tons on DN1, especially during the holiday period.

Additionally, another landslide recently occurred in the Comarnic area, but the issue has already been resolved. Tourists heading to the mountains are advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
