In the Lovech region, vehicles over 12 tons are prohibited on road III-358 Shipkovo – Ribaritsa, and in Vratsa, traffic on road III-306 Oryahovo – Knezha is suspended due to reduced visibility. Other restrictions include speed limits on the 'Trakia' and Hemus highways, as well as restrictions on the Maritsa Highway due to issues with the expansion joints. Mountain passes, such as 'Varbishki' and 'Zlatishki', are closed to all vehicles, and other passes have specific restrictions for heavy vehicles. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends proper winter equipment for vehicles and driving with caution.
