The authorities in Romania have issued a warning for transporters, informing that the Bulgarian authorities have imposed traffic restrictions for trucks on two national roads. The Giurgiu Territorial Inspectorate of the Border Police announced that freight transport vehicles with a maximum authorized mass greater than 12.5 tons cannot circulate on the Ruse – Byala and Ruse – Razgrad roads, being stopped at the exit from Ruse.

In contrast, cars leaving Romania towards Bulgaria can circulate, but drivers are advised to be cautious, to use appropriate winter equipment, and to respect road signage. Authorities recommend periodic consultation of official sources for updated information about road conditions and traffic conditions.
