The circulation of trucks will be prohibited on Sunday in the counties of Arad, Bihor, and Satu Mare, due to the heatwave.

On Sunday, between 12:00 and 20:00, the circulation of vehicles with a maximum authorized total mass greater than 7.5 tons will be prohibited in the counties of Arad, Bihor, and Satu Mare, as a result of the red heatwave alert, according to Agerpres.

This measure aims to protect road safety under conditions of extreme thermal discomfort. However, certain transports are exempt from these restrictions, including those of people, live animals, perishable goods, emergency vehicles, funerals, postal services, first aid equipment, fuel distribution, water and food in disaster areas, as well as military and agricultural transports. Police recommend that drivers adjust their behavior in traffic to ensure the safety of all participants.
