Traffic on DN 67C – Transalpina was closed on Tuesday evening, starting at 7:00 PM, due to heavy blizzards and extremely reduced visibility, according to the announcement from the authorities. The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) informed that the closure is valid for all categories of vehicles, considering that the weather conditions do not allow safe traffic. This measure is also for the protection of snow removal teams. CNAIR mentioned that if the weather improves, traffic will be reopened on Wednesday morning. The Traffic Information Center of the Police confirmed this closure, which will last until 7:00 AM, February 25. Additionally, the National Meteorological Administration issued yellow and orange warnings for heavy blizzards and wind intensifications for several areas in the country.
