Traffic on DN 1 is affected in the central area of the town of Bușteni, where several streets are flooded, and the accumulation of water is hindering traffic and access to certain areas. At least two people have been swept away by the waters, according to the prefect of Prahova, Daniel Nicodim.

"At the level of the locality of Bușteni, firefighters intervened to rescue two elderly people trapped in a car taken by the flood. Another 10 people were evacuated or self-evacuated from their cars in the Bușteni area, and we have no victims at this time or persons reported missing," said the head of DSU, Raed Arafat, at Digi24.

IPJ Prahova has informed that citizens are advised to avoid traveling in these areas and not to attempt to cross flooded roads, either on foot or by car. Intervention teams are mobilizing to evacuate water and limit the effects of the floods, assisting those in difficulty.
