The torrential rains of the last few days have caused difficulties in the water supply in Prahova County. In the municipality of Câmpina, the water operator HIDRO PRAHOVA S.A. announced that, starting from June 4, the turbidity of the water has significantly increased due to the abundant precipitation, which has led to a reduction in pressure in the distribution network. This measure will continue until the situation stabilizes. Also, in the town of Slănic, the Izvoarele commune and the village of Schiulești, the water supply has been stopped due to the siltation of the Crasna and Ștefești catchments. The company has informed that it cannot estimate a timeline for the resumption of service, considering the evolution of weather conditions. Subscribers in these areas are affected by the interruption of the drinking water supply.
