On Monday, a truck overturned on the A2 highway, in the direction of Bucharest - Constanța, causing traffic to be blocked towards the coast. The incident occurred immediately after the town of Fetești, at kilometer 139, and involved two trucks that remained immobilized on the roadway. The INFOTRAFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police confirmed that, although no casualties were reported, traffic is halted in the direction towards Constanța, and drivers are facing high traffic volumes. Traffic will be diverted through the junction at kilometer 105, in the town of Drajna, and normal traffic resumption is estimated after 11:00 AM. The traffic police and intervention teams will investigate the circumstances of the accident.
