On DN 1, on Thursday, in the area of the town of Bușteni, a truck hit a police vehicle after the driver refused to stop at the agents' signals. The incident was reported by the administrator of a transport company, who noticed the unusual behavior of the driver, who changed his route without justification.

Police officers from the Prahova County Police Inspectorate intervened, but the driver continued towards Ploiești, stopping later near a shopping center. At the moment when the police tried to get him to come down, he put the vehicle in motion, lightly hitting the police vehicle.

Fortunately, the incident resulted only in material damage. Gendarmes and a negotiator from the Romanian Police were called to the scene, and the driver was safely extracted and is now in police custody. Authorities continue to investigate to determine the circumstances and reasons for the driver's behavior. Road traffic has resumed under normal conditions.
