The prosecutor has sent three men to trial for the rape of a minor victim at an AUR camp. The victim was subjected to pressure after the complaint.

The Prosecutor's Office next to the Bucharest Court of Appeal announced that it has sent three men aged between 29 and 33 to trial for the rape of a 17-year-old minor, an incident that occurred three years ago at an event organized by AUR in the Neptun-Olimp resort. Prosecutors claim that the three took advantage of the victim's vulnerability, engaging in sexual relations against her will.

Investigators interviewed the victim through a special protocol, taking care of her emotional protection. The incident was reported by the victim on September 16, 2023, and the three men, Georgian Negară, Valentin Ghinea, and Alexandru Mihai Ene, were identified as members of the AUR party, a claim denied by the party's leadership. Following the accusations, the leadership of the AUR organization in Ialomița resigned. The victim stated that she was subjected to pressure and assaults after filing the complaint, and a report from the National Institute of Forensic Medicine confirmed the presence of the three men's DNA on her clothes. The young woman emphasized that she is fighting against a system that does not provide her with protection.
