Three people have been detained following the searches conducted in the criminal case opened after the explosion in Sector 5 of the Capital, according to judicial sources. So far, the Bucharest Court of Appeal has not provided details about the identity of those detained or their involvement. On Wednesday, the Romanian Police, under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office, carried out eight home searches, four in Bucharest, two in Ilfov, and one each in the counties of Prahova and Teleorman, aiming to seize documents and storage units. The explosion occurred in the building in Rahova, causing the death of three people and injuring another 15, and the criminal case concerns the offense of destruction through negligence, with investigations being conducted in rem.
