On October 7, 2025, the police in Arad were alerted via 112 about a threat involving an explosive device. At the scene, they found a mobile phone and identified a 38-year-old man known to have mental health issues. He had electronic devices in his possession, and specialists from the SRI were called in for analysis. A research team was formed to investigate the incident and clarify the circumstances.
