In Cluj-Napoca, a 38-year-old man was threatened with a non-lethal firearm, subject to authorization, following a spontaneous conflict arising from traffic disputes. The incident occurred on Ploiești Street, and the police were alerted via a 112 call. Investigations revealed that the man displayed the firearm, after which he left the scene, being quickly identified by the authorities. The police have initiated investigations to establish the exact circumstances of the event and to take the necessary legal measures. Additionally, IPJ Cluj reminded citizens that non-lethal weapons can only be legally possessed under strict conditions, and their use in public is prohibited in situations that may cause panic or intimidation.
