CNAIR announces significant progress in the construction of the Moldova Motorway (A7)

The director of CNAIR stated that the works on the Moldova Highway (A7) are progressing well, highlighting the overpass over the railway at Cleja, where beams are being installed and the concrete for the ditches is being finalized. On the 47 km construction site between Adjud and Bacău, the contractor UMB Spedition is mobilizing 1,900 workers and 400 machines, with the physical progress of the works reaching 95% on lot 2 (Adjud-Răcăciuni) and 80% on lot 3 (Răcăciuni-Bacău).

The construction of these lots, with a total length of 60.3 km, has a value of 4.18 billion lei, financed through PNRR. CNAIR aims that by the end of the year, it will be possible to travel on 397 km of highway between Bucharest and Pașcani, including on A3 and A7.
