The Neamt Prefecture announces that the water in the Izvorul Muntelui lake is compliant, and the fish analysis is ongoing.

Recent tests carried out by the DSP confirm that the water in the Izvorul Muntelui lake is physico-chemically compliant, and the authorities are taking fish samples to check that it is safe to eat. If the fish proves unfit for consumption, the population will be informed immediately. DSP teams are also carrying out disinfection operations in the flood-affected commune of Farcașa and will notify citizens if the water in their wells is unsafe. No cases of illness have been reported in the affected areas.
